The Office is a documentary-like series that shows the lives of office employees in Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. To get this documentary look, it is filmed in a single camera setup, without a studio audience or a laugh track. The show aired on NBC and aired for nine seasons. The series follows the general manager, Michael Scott (Steve Carell); the receptionist, Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer); and sales representatives such as, Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) and Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) and many more.With over seven Golden Globe Nominations and one win for Best Actor and 40 Primetime Emmy Nominations and five wins, The Office could be considered one of the best comedy shows to grace our television. In my opinion, it is. There are many different things I love about The Office; it's a show that never fails to make any person laugh and the way the show is setup, makes you feel like you have a personal connection with each character. This is one of my favorite shows and I strongly suggest all of you watch it.
